"UAE NGSSE:

An aggregate of 80% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th grade/UAE National General Secondary School Examination (NGSSE) or equivalent with a minimum of 70% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually.

British Curriculum, IGCSE, GCSE, GCE:

Two-AS levels with C grade after completion of five-O-levels with minimum Grade C. Courses must include Physics, Chemistry & Biology with at least two of them at AS-level.

American High School Diploma:

A minimum score of 80% in addition to SAT II score of 550 in Biology.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma:

Must have completed any six courses including Biology and Physics or Biology and Chemistry at the higher level and three at standard level, with a score of at least 25.

Pakistan Boards/ Certificates:

Higher Secondary School Certificate with aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Part 1 and Part 2 total) with min 60% in each of these courses.

Indian Boards/ Certificates:

All India Senior School Certificate / CBSE XII Std with 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology with at least 60% in each of these three courses.

For Indian State Board Examinations 80% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology with at least 70% in each of these three courses is required.

Iranian Certificate:

Completion of Pre-University year (Grade 12) with 80% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology courses.

English Language Test Requirements:

Proficiency in English equivalent to a TOEFL score of 500 in paper based test, 61 in internet based test or its equivalent such as IELTS score of 5 is required. Admission is purely based on merit and open to students of all nationalities.

Meritorious students get special scholarships:

15% concession in the tuition fee is provided for all students securing above 90% in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th grade/UAE NGSSE/ equivalent and 20% concession in the tuition fee is provided for those scoring above 95%. This concession is limited to the first semester only.

Subsequently, a student who secures a GPA of 3.75 or above on a 4.0 scale in any semester of the programs shall be entitled for a concession of 20% in the tuition fee for the following semester. However, during the Clinical years of MBBS - Semesters V – X, all the students who secure a GPA of 3.75 or more on a 4.0 scale in the End Semester Examinations of IV, VI & VIII, shall be entitled for a concession of 20% in the tuition fees for Semesters V & VI, VII & VIII and IX & X respectively. Full dental scholarships in tuition fee is provided to suitable UAE National students, who have secured high scores in UAE NGSSE/12th grade, by Sheikh Saqr Program for Government Excellence (Government of RAK).
