Congratulations for choosing RAK College of Dental Sciences to pursue your career in dentistry. The College is an integral part of the RAK Medical and Health Sciences University (RAK MHSU) which also offers degree courses in Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing.

At the RAK College of Dental Science, emphasis is on comprehensive oral care and community based preventive dental programs. The College has a diverse, highly qualified, experienced and friendly international academic staff. The physical resources at RAK College of Dental Sciences are modern and up to date. Of the five year BDS program, students spend the first two and half years in the general education, basic medical science and pre clinical dental science departments.

RAK Medical and Health Sciences University ,Ras-Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates(UAE), has been established by the Ras Al Khaimah Human Development Foundation (RAK – HDF) under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince & Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and Chancellor of the University.

RAK-HDF is a joint venture of Ras Al Khaimah Government, Al Ghurair Investments and ETA Ascon Group, Dubai.
At RAKMHSU, all the programs viz MBBS, BDS, B Pharm and BSc Nursing have been granted initial license and accreditation by the University of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAE. While the RAK College of Medical Science (RAKCOMS) started its programs (MBBS) in 2006, the RAK College of Dental Science (RAKCODS), RAK College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (RAKCOPS), RAK College of Nursing (RAKCONS) started their program from September 2007.

The University will shortly commence the construction of its future campus adjacent to Saqr Hospital, Ras Al Khaimah. The University building will be completed by August 2008 with state-of-the-art facilities meeting international standards. The present campus is located at Burairat, in the heart of Ras Al Khaimah City. The campus offers all the required facilities to cater to all its program including Library, Anatomy Dissection Hall, Skills Laboratories, Computer Labs, Lecture halls, Demonstration rooms, an Auditorium, Gym and a Play Ground. Separate hostel facilities are provided for male and female students. Student visa is also provided.
